Any ideas, the car won't start...
so, as usual, car will not start...
Not looking for answers... more so just suguestions, or ideas..
here the story, I'll try to keep it short
-recent rebuild, (done by myself)
-car started up first crank, ran good, was just ironing a few kinks out.
-drove her around for a while, doing the whole break in thing..
-couple weeks later took it for a little road trip (150 kms) to a wedding
-went for a little rip down a local country road, no houses empty road etc..
took her up to speed, then backed off....
drove for another 2-3 kms, stopped at a stop sign, I went to accelerate away, she died and has not wanted to start since
it turns over just fine... but will not catch...
I have check for fuel, spark, compression... but with no luck
I am not sure if its getting the right amount of fuel....
I do not have a fuel pressure gauge.
I know that the fuel pump sounds like its working... but have not confirmed or denied this..
I'm thinking it could be the fuel filter... but am a bit hesitant to blame it all on it...
due to the fact it died once it went to idle... but was running fine right before,
any sugguestions would be great..
List of mods (in case it adds some insight)
fresh rebuild
Mild Street port
BNR stage 3
efini Y pipe
simple-seq
full flow exhaust
Power FC
as I was trying to find the problem, i had both Leadings out... was in the process of pulling the EGI fuse, when my father cranked it over.... it has 4 inch blue flames shooting out of each spark plug hole for a second before he realized to stop cranking it..
Any ideas would be great... not looking for answers..

I had the same problems in the past.
So you have fuel at your engine.
- check the sparks if you have ignition
- check your engine grounds, put a starter-cable from minus at the battery to the engine block and try to start
- check your battery, mine showed 12v but when i recharged it, it wasnt full up ( but to be honest, i dont think its your battery )
- check your compression
- my instruction manual is at my garage, there are 2 engine sensor if i remember correct which could be damaged
- your us-FD´s have a security relais, check this out
- check your ecu of storaged error codes
- try to start with new spark plugs, at least 2 new leading spark plugs
If you need help how to check these steps, just search for the threads, ive done this twice and there has been near everything discussed here.
Sry for my bad english...
