Anti-det device (detonation)?

1. What is it?
Dummy spark plugs, from aluminum alloy turned on a lathe.
2. Why?
The dummy plugs are machined with an extended tip to occupy the rotor housing spark void. This void accumulates combustion products, effecting ignition much like a diesel glow-head.
