Doesn't sound over to me, but rather that PGU won't be a distributer.

It'll take a cold day in hell before I send my car from Ca. to Pa. for a $500 "Magic" box...
Which BTW, shipping costs the car costs more than the device...

geez what a bunch of children. you would think that "adults" would be able to come to some sort of an agreement for something that's supposed to be "so great".

Yeah, business would be, it's out, but now it's $700 due to lawyers etc... this is a deal breaker for me... I'm not dragging my car clear across the US, to get something installed that nobody here has heard of, and nobody there will explain what it does...

Sorry I'm not buying Snake Oil this time around

My car has the device, my car is fine. It is running well. My only worry is that I have the 1300CC secondary injectors and there have been a few injector failures that even the anti det device cannot protect the engine from.

I put 15k on my 1300 cc inj with no problem from them. Just switched to 1600's and the rail for my single kit.

Jimlab..

1st of all there is a on going debate, as if this device
really works or not. Granted its a device, but does it
actually do what it claims to do?? 2nd of all,
no post on this page that answers my question.

From what I gather the people that have this device
installed, still popped their motor. but the cause, " they
say " are from Faulty 1300 injectors??? thats odd.
considering the ones saying that are the ones selling
the device. Are there any 3rd parties to verify any of this?

Artguy,
You going SINGLE turbo??
What did you do with your M2 ballbearing twins??
and wasn't it you that was so Stead fast about
fast spool of the seq twins and etc??
I guess the twins weren't as great as you thought eh?

If you searched on Artguy's posts, you could read what happened and what he is doing, instead of posting sarcastic questions.

1st of all, I think Jim LaBreck has been around long enough to know what's going on. I don't think you need to tell him. Maybe that's just a hunch though...
2nd of all, why don't you try looking at the first 3 pages of this thread... I hate to tell someone that's been registered since '02 to search, but sheesh....

well since this thread has surfaced from the dead..i was re-reading it and found this on the same link as the previous thread. I am not sure what the "anti det" device did or what is was but this invention claims to prevent detonation as well. Here it is http://pg-unlimited.com/ Just thought i would share

I like their disclaimer,

"The use of TrailPlug® may do the following:

* Increase combustion temperatures leading to apex seal damage, rotor face damage, turbo damage, and other heat susceptible damage.
* Increase tuning requirements for stand alone/piggy-back engine management systems.
* Although this product reduces the chances of octane induced detonation, it is not a 100% guarantee."

You asked "Is this DEVICE for real??? or no??" The first question would tend to imply you were asking if it existed, or (a logical extension of that line of thought) if it was going to be available. The first post by diablone on this page answered both questions: "Doesn't sound over to me, but rather that PGU won't be a distributer."

If you wanted to know whether it works or not, perhaps you should have asked that question specifically, and maybe thrown in a few capitalized words to let people know you were serious. Like this... "DOES the anti-DETONATION device REALLY work or NOT??"

Don't blame me if you can't express yourself well enough (even using ALL CAPS) for people to give you the answers you're looking for.

I'd like to have one, but at this point in time, it sounds more like one of the magic hp boxes you can buy on ebay...
