anti-det. device?

fart on a friends head!!!
ive "heard" that h2o injection isnt very compatible with the anti-det device. . . now why would that be? . . . why couldnt you tune for water injection using this device? i dont really understand why cooling the aircharge makes "tuning" hard. . .

I want this thing to work just as much as the next guy. I just noticed that Adam, and someone else blew their motors under the same exact conditions. I was under the impression that this device would stop things like this from happening.
It also seems like there as been a lot of faulty injectors lately. The whole thing makes me kind of leery, I think I'm going carb instead!

If they didn't come up with the original concept and thus acquire a patent, they'll have to get an exclusive license which is expensive and tough to do. Maybe this is the real reason behind the delay?
As stated before, nothing will 100% proof a motor from blowing but it may extend the tuning window to new levels.

All, everything will be explained in detail very soon. I am waiting for Skip to proof a preliminary write-up that will be posted on www.pg-unlimited.com We will also be working with the RX7store.net among other rotary shops to sell and tune these devices.
The website will have several categories to read from:
Product History
Intended Applications
Special Applications
Target Markets
Application Warnings
Release Dates and Pricing
We are also working with contacts to have the device featured in Modified Magazine and Turbo Magazine.
Please check www.pg-unlimited.com for updates to this product. In fairness to the RX7store.net, we will no longer respond to questions posted on this forum regarding this device. If the RX7store.net agrees to become a licensed dealer you will have to direct questions to them or to www.pg-unlimited.com. We thank Jason and the RX7store for allowing us the opportunity to bring this invention to the rotary community using this media and look forward to doing business with them in the near future.
Thanks much,
Steven Hyde

Is the device a piston engine?
...hahaha J/K I'm intersted to learn about it myself, especially if it increases torque (ie chamber pressure) AND reduces detonation.

I wwas looking around on the PG unlimited site today and there is more information up on the anti det. They have a preorder and what not up, however sadly there isn't that much new information on the site. It pretty much seems to say information will be released when the device is on May 1. Still an interesting lead as it shows that this thing is happening.

ANTI-DETONATION DEVICE (Canceled)
UPDATE 05/20/04:_We regret to announce to our customers that the parties involved in offering the Anti Detonation Device could not come into agreement on the contractual terms._ This has hindered us in offering this product through Performance Group Unlimited, LLC._ We have promptly refunded all monies to those whom participated in our pre-release offering and offer our sincerest apologies._ We had hoped that these final details would have been taken care of prior to making announcements, but as it turns out they didn't._ You may continue to contact Skip Gorman at KDR Performance, Inc to inquire about this product; he will still be serving the public on a one-on-one basis and we here at pg-unlimited.com wish him the very best in his endeavors.__
