antenna removal

What is the best way to remove the top cap on the outside of the car so that I can pull out the antenna? I have a replacement antenna mast so I need to pull the whole assembly out to get at it.

unscrew it - if I remember right you can just use some needlenose pliers (protect the finish with something).

search here or look for a how to on scuderia or robinette. you can unscrew the mast with a special set of pliers. i bought them at sears.

use snap-ring pliers.

You'll probably have to pull the motor though. Most of the time when the antenna breaks, there are pieces of it left in the motor that needs to be cleaned out
