I have an Eclipse HU. When I switch from Radio to CD the antenna will retract. This happens every time I change CDs because the deck switches to Radio while loading the disk. Is there a way that I can stop this?

 

The antenna output on your headunit is switching off the antenna anytime the tuner isn't on: like when a cd is playing.

Check the owner's manual first to see if there is perhaps a way on the head unit to disable this and make the antenna stay up anytime the head unit is on. If there is not, then hopefully your head unit also has an amp turn on wire. Use that one for your antenna too and the antenna will stay raised as long as the head unit is on.
