yea, but ya do it enough, or hit that patch of ice, and ya wont be! I bet people have tried to kill them selves before, and it hasn't worked out. But i bet if they try enough, the'll succeed. haha.

That rear 1/4 damage is going to be a bitch to fix, but everything else will be simple. Definitely repairable.

iono off the subject and all... but here it goes. i bought an 86 fc. the guy who had it did a t2 conversion well... if i get replies ill show pics of what the bastard did to the car.... anyways. ive decided i dont want to use the six port cast iron na motor. i want power. so i was thinkin hey the fds pretty sweet its even got twins. so ive been savin the cash and all and i can get my hands on a 95 13b tt. now i know you cant just drop the beast in cuz youll need to make room for the intercooler and so forth but i also need a transmission... the previous owner of my fc did one ok thing to it and that was put the gtu's 4.3 rear diff in. so im not sure what the ratio is for the fd but i know that the rx8 sixspeeds use a 4.3 rear diff.

so i was wondering is it possible to bolt up an rx8 6spd transmission to the fd's rotary? now of course ill need to make brackets im sure of that i need to know if the motor and transmission will stick together. and hell would the sixspeed take the beating of an fd's 200 plus hp. iono. thats why i ask. thanks ya all.

dito, my rear end was crushed (hatch and bumper) and it was 7k. you have a good bit to fix. depending on how hard you hit, you might need the frame pulled back into shape

My eyes teared up looking at those pics man. Glad you are ok, but she is basically gonna need a repaint. That alone is about $4k for a good quality job. Looks like you need a new rims as well or keep it as a track wheel only especially with those tires mounted on them. Good luck man. I feel for you.

Well, now it's time to show some progress of the repairs. The hood is being repaired because the turbo coupler would blow off and the clamp would hit the hood. I'm so happy that the car is coming back together. So far, the total cost is 800 in parts and 3.5k in labor so around $4,300.00 I could be a little less when I negociate even further hehe.

Is this a friend of yours KaiFd3S? Smack them please J/K

Good to see the car is being repaired. It was bad but not deadly to the car. Still sucks for you. And nevermind the ******** bitchin about winter driving it. It's your car if you feel like driving, drive it. Espeacially on a nice day like you said. And a suburu would have done the exact same thing., Then you woukld have needed a hummer etc.. haters are gonna hate

Good luck and I carry the same ins, so i feel your financial attachment to the car.

I miss the car still. Every day that it is 60 F and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, I just think to myself....damn, i wish i had my FD. The lawyer next door pulls his Ford GT out and everytime he does....i get jelous...even though I think my car has more horses and looks better anyways.

I thought about not doing it, because I am still in college and I only have 3 more months, but it was like pay tuition, or pay for the car....I got both. Took out a student loan for the car haha...beat the system because I have school paid for already.

Too bad you didn't get hurt instead of the FD. You know what they say. Flesh heals, but paint costs money.

hahaha, jk. Glad you're alright.
