Another thred from a newbie

So i put a new downpipe on the fd and when i did the gasket that was inbtween that and the cat was bad so i put it back together and decided to let somewhere like tuffy fix that cause i have been busy. I took it up there today and apon telling me that i need to go and get a gasket for it, they also said that i was leaking oil from the main sean on the "crank shaft" and i need to replace it. There was another 7 there and they had just did the same thing to it. I am not sure that that is 100% the problem but it is leaking oil cause there is a mirror of oil on the bottom of the car and it was dripping. So here is my question, they said that they charged the other person that they did the same thing to 230 bucks to fix it. I have access to a shop cause i ran one in my home town. He said that all i have to do is pull all of the intercooler piping out of the way and the belts and intake. THen from there take the four 10mm bolts off of the pulley and then the 19mm main bolt that holds it on there. after that there are 2 pins and springs behind it. Take those off and the seal is right there. Replace it and put it all back together. Is that as simple as it sounds cause i think that i can do it. And if not i am pretty sure that i wanna take it to somewhere othere then tuffy for that kind of work. What does everone else think about this idea. O and i can work on it at that shop i have all of the tools but it is 2 hours away and do you think that it would be safe to drive the car that far with this problem to save me some money. PS it is a daily
