after reading about all the smoking issues mine also comes from the turbo area . i have a non seq setup . as i was checking all the oil lines going to the turbo i noticed the oil line on top of the turbos leaking at around the bolt that goes in to the top i tightened both bolts up did not fix problem. then realized the oil was coming from the cotton stuff in the heat shield after peeling some back it was saturated with oil is it ok to completly remove the heat shield from that oil line .
