Exclamation To all the SMOKERS!!!!I mean your cars.........

Okay, to all the people that have had symptoms like mine--

cold start up(first in the day) it smokes like crazy, blue tint

during driving after revving high and letting off gas and puff comes the smoke--blue tint again. Stinks like a bad dirt bike.

This was pissing me off to no extent, I was almost redy to accept that I bought a smoker for an engine. But.................................after changin my oil for the thrird time in a month. No more smoke. thats right, no more smoke.

I went from a 20w50 oil and switched to 10w30. At start up, there is barely any smoke, like almost none. During driving, I did not smell the rotten 2 stroke smell at all, nor did I see a single blue cloud behind me.

ussually I was seeing like trails of smoke, now nothing, I am so happy. My new motor doesn't smoke like a bus anymore!!!!

So, my advice to all y'all smokers out there, go out and try a different brand of oil, and possibly a different weight. It worked for me, so I am sure the same results can be found by others, good luck.

BTW the oil I used was just Wal Mart 10w30, I bought the 20 litre pail cuz it was cheap, and my girls rex needs an oil change too.

James, I know your motor is not a smoker. For some reason it was the oil I had in it. This was the third oil change since installing it, no more smoking. I really don't for the life of me know why it was smoking. Maybe from sitting, I really am baffled. I guess it was the 20 50 engine oil.

I never had any doubts in your ability and that you built a quality motor, that is why i never pm'ed you to complain. This thing is a great engine, pulls extremely hard even down low. I can't wait until I go carbed and tuned, I am pretty sure the stock ecu is holding it back. I have no complaints at all James. I still think you are a great guy and you know your ****.

I told ya it was a fun motor Now get the ******* carb on there already.... ****

I didn't mean PM me to complain, I meant PM me to explain what was wrong so I could help figure out what changed to cause the problem.

I told you when you picked it up that it was smoking without the 720's and s-afc after running hard and that I didn't recommend driving it like that. There's a reason I was thrilled when you said it was getting carbed.
