another question.. about doing a vac job

I can't figure out how in the world to detach the AVC, the ignition coil rack and ultimately the solenoid rack.. I'm am looking through the service manual however i can't seem to find any directions on how to do it.. could anyone give me some directions or point me in a direction to go searching? thank you

Do you mean the ACV as in air-control valve instead of avc

There are three nuts holding the ACV on the LIM. There is another nut on the bottom of the ACV. It's straight down from the nut on the top of the ACV. I don't think it's mentioned anywhere in the FSM.


To remove the fuel hard pipes, rack, etc.:

be very, very carefull not to break any solenoid tip...
Like Jonski have mentioned, there are two screw to take the coil rack. Remove all the hoses of the fuel lines and cover them tighly with plastic or something. make sure you release the fuel pressure first!! Dont forget the screw under the oil neck.. it must be remove also!
