I'm at the point now where I just don't recommend messing with cleaning injectors. I have seen this happen MANY times on the forum now.

There is at least one company that hermetically seals cleaned injectors in aluminum foil bags to prevent sticking due to the cleaning residue drying out or turning to varnish. Seems to work - I've used injectors cleaned years previously w/o issues. Mumm Brothers is the one I have used for my F2000 Zetec injectors. www.mummbrothers.com/Fuel_Injector_Service/MainPage_FIS.htm
Here too. Sent my injectors out for cleaning and didn’t get them reinstalled for a month or 2. Primaries worked but secondaries stuck hard. Car would start and run fine until transition, then it fell flat. Took me a little while to diagnose, never thought newly cleaned injectors would be bad. Replaced with new, problem solved but expensive fix.
Was cruising down the freeway yesterday with only about 15 miles on the new motor when I noticed the temp gauge slammed to the top. Puled over, shut the car down and popped the hood. FCEdit said the temp was 125C. The coolant overflow line had contacted a belt and pulled out of the nipple on the overflow tank (no AST).
I let it cool off and added nearly 3 quarts of coolant at the thermostat housing and topped off the overflow tank, jammed the line down the overflow tank filler neck and made it a few miles to Napa to get some more coolant, then a friend's driveway to pull the airbox, re-attached the overflow line, and top off with a Iisle funnel.
Over the next 45 minutes or so the car was started and re-started several times, once or twice with 10 or 15 minutes in between. It started easily and idled perfectly.
Took a short ~30 mile drive after and parked at another friend's house for about 1:15-1:30. After returning to the car and trying to start it, it turned over but made no effort to start. I pulled the EGU & FP fuses, floored it and cranked for ~15 seconds. Re-installed fuses and tried to start again, no luck. Was going to pull the plugs but my friend had starting fluid so we tried that -- just a squirt and it started right up and idled great. Drove home ~15 miles and it was fine. Let it sit 10-15 minutes at home and it started back up fine. Let it sit 1:15 at home and again, it would not start. Pulled the plugs to find them all to look similar to this:
L1 had two small cracks in it (another one on other side):
Left the plugs out, went to bed.
Checked coolant level in the morning and it was full to just under the filler cap.
Installed the same plugs in the same locations in the morning, and it started right up. No white smoke, idled perfectly.
Turned it off, turned it back on 5 minutes later, started perfectly.
Pulled the plugs and they looked like this:
Seemed to be slightly wet.
Put the leading plugs back in, installed compression tester in trailing holes one at a time:
Front: 102/110/102, 102/109/90
Rear: 113/113/110
Rear with MMO: 115/113/122
Installed all new plugs. Started it, turn it off.
Let it set 15 minutes. Started it.
Let it sit 40 minutes. Did not start.
Pulled L2 and it was not wet and looked like this:
