Stumbled upon this on another forum. Looks cherry.
Glad to see the trend on pricing starting to value these cars properly.

That's some of the lowest mileage I've seen on these cars in a very long time.
Rich had a 13k mile black R1 that I should have bought 2 years ago. It was similar money as this one. Still smelled new.
Unmolested examples like this will be bringing more and more money in the next decade.

These low mileage cars that are popping up are a pretty good value if someone wants a like-new FD, but they also show how the cars aren't a good investment as a collector. Consider that when new in 93-95 these cars had an msrp of 35-40k. In 2014 dollars, that's 57 - 62k. Add in the cost of insurance, storage, registration, etc. for 20 years and you can see how much owning/not driving/selling a low mileage example has really cost the seller and how good a deal they are if you're in the market for that sort of thing.
Now another thing to consider: in 3 more years it'll be legal to import the early overseas FDs into the states. In a few more years, it'll be legal to import 1996 models, and then 1999 models. What do you think that will do to our resale values?
My point is this: Go forth and buy/enjoy your FDs and don't worry about the value
