Another fuel cut question
Ok, first my car wouldnt go over 5k rpms period. It just got there and cut off and dropped back to 3k rpms or so. Well i got that fixed ( vacuum hoses) and everything seemed to be fine. Just today I was driving and floored it and when it got to 5k started skipping around but was still progressing in rpms. I noticed the boost gauge is reading pretty low numbers .
I have a midpipe , downpipe, blitz bov, and filters.

If you don't have something to control your boost you may be hitting the fuel cut during transition. The cut around transisiton is 13.3 PSI and slowly goes down to 10.7 PSI at 6500 RPM. I got to see the cut work first hand last weekend on the dyno as I had my EVC set at 11PSI and it'd cut right after 6500 I thought the cut was at 12-13PSI all the way up to redline but after seeing it and researching more I found out.
You really shouldn't be running a MP without a cat-back as stock muffler is very restrictive (one owner I talked to had DP/AI/Cat-back/IC and could boost to 13 PSI, when he swapped back to the stock cat-back it dropped him down to 11 PSI max).
You should also not be running a MP on stock ECU (although the fuel cut may save you) and lastly you shouldn't run a MP without some sort of boost controller (if you don't want to go electronic search for 'Home Depot Boost Controller' it'll cost you about $15 and take a couple of hours).
