Another fan question

I was wondering if there is any way of making the fans stay on a little longer. I've got the FC thermo switch so they come on at 210F but then turn off right away at 200F.

Is there any way to make them stay on until it is 190-195F other than using a switch to force them on and off ?

aftermarket fan controller or PowerFC are the best bets.

The hysteresis in the power fc is not adjustable, only the trigger temperature

You can get a Pettit fan switch to turn them on at 180. I have one and it works. Cost $49 and the shipping was free at the time.

hhhmm.... yea I don't really want them to turn on that early. Looks like the only way might just be an aftermarket fan controller.

There is no harm in turning them on at 180. Go the simplest route. The Pettit switch is made for this exact problem.

Yes but then they would be on almost all the time which would be very annoying.

Right...other than shortening the life of the fan motors, alternator and battery.
