annoying idle ?
Symptom:
When coming to a stop after driving a while...
car "idles " at 2100 for 7-10 seconds... sputter pop and it settles down to normal. Most every time. Kinda annoying.
What should I check? (mostly stock 93, intake, dp, cb)
Behavior started after last weekend at track.

BOOOYAHHHH!
Sounds like your ISC ends up trying to regulate your idle. whats your vaccum? if you have a vaccum leak the ISC will comp for it.
Second i would check your idle. ground Ten to ground in the diagnostic box. if your idle jumps up then you know you have a vaccum leak.. if not. Adjust the idle, you might have the air bleed screew out to much. Check the throttle cable as well.

It might sound dumb but my car did the same thing i finally found out it was the vacuum line by the PCV valve. So check all vacuum lines i pretty sure it has to be one of them, I had a single so it made mine very easy to find.

Newbie Reply !!
Sometimes if the TB plate gets to gunked up with carbon it will cause the plate to not close properley thus causing your idle to sit high for a bit until it compensates try cleaning it with carb cleaner and a rag......not just spraying it in
I doubt its a vacuum leak as no matter how the Idle control trys to compensate.....it will still sit higher than usual and fluctuate
Do you guys have a TPS throttle position sensor ?? maybe this needs adjusting ?? ie: the car when returning to idle thinks the plate is closed when its not
havent got my RX yet as I have 2 probes to sell first but soon great site
Back off to the newbie section now lol
