The prices they are charging you are not typical prices. You are getting royally screwed with no lube. We pay much higher labor rates here in Cali than you do and I wouldn't expect to pay HALF of what you did.

Really? Wow, well...they charged me $70/hr. (decent price, looked around) and they had to find out what was wrong with it. After the diagnostics, they orderd the parts and worked on it. I believe the bulk of the money goes into the time it took to finding out what was wrong with the car.
