Gotcha...found it.

Ok here's my noob question...what's the benefit of this, other than now having something that could be polished up?! (which is a very good reason in it of itself IMO )

Although I've never had a serious problem with the stock one, the aluminum one will obviously be stronger and not prone to cracking/splitting. Will look better and should seal to the motor better.

My original idea for it was just for looks. Although I doubt that the OEM one ever fails too often, but I'm sure the ALuminum would be more resistant to cracking.

I had thought about this too. Ever since I seen the one in the Japanese mag. Did'nt think about it too seriously though 'cause I was'nt near to that point of putting my engine back together. You definately get the credit for getting this going though. Big ups to you!
