Hello! I've done SO many searches and unfortunately was not wise enough to bookmark some of my discoveries and am now wondering where I might find these? I KNOW I have seen pics of an FD with these...they complimented the factory rims well and would consider getting these as opposed to the carbon fiber look. Can anyone help me find a distributor or know whether I can even get these or have to have them custom made? I was almost certain I found a place to BUY them outright, but perhaps I was wrong. If anyone has a pic or two they could post of this i'd be most appreciative too....wanna show them to a friend.

This isn't a joke? You could take them off and paint them.

Wouldn't you rather have the black door handles match the tires instead? Wooooooooo special! Or better yet, how about they blend well with the window frame and window tinting as they were designed to not be seen so as to not take focus away from the lines of the car.

 

Easy big guy! Everyone has the right to do what they want to their car. He just wants the info.

I agree totally... if someone wants to do something to thier car, even if I or someone else think it's screwy... by all means... knock yourself out... it's your car...

that pic above looks like adhesive backed brushed aluminum type stuff (sorry... for using the VERY technical term of 'stuff' ), like some of the aluminum interior kits you see from time to time... you could probably buy a sheet of that stuff for next to nothing and cut them out yourself...

I love your site and all, but your taillights and door handle look hideous.

 

That actually adds a neat vintage look... Kinda like the chrome bexels around the gauges... Got a full pic?

 

the chrome is a little bit nicer. its a whole lot cleaner. that aluminum tape is junk and cheap and doesnt belong on a car with higher standard such as the fd3s. if you gotta do it though. . . whatever. i know i would turn it down if you tried to sell it to me. it looks like those dweebcars that have the robocar look. the chrome is a lot cleaner. . . even though i dont agree with it. why dont you just paint it like you did the tail light lenses. . . or powdercoat it!!! i am obviously not gonna have you arrested for doing this to your own ride. im only offering my opinion and i feel that the car looks like poop with the TAPE. just take em off and paint em or something. you guys are turning this into a lounge topic!!!!haha

That part is cast metal (not sure if its aluminum) so you should just have to strip the black paint off and polish it to get that nice shiny look.

 

I'm really not sure if you were directing this at me so don't read on if you weren't.

If you were, you should take your own advice - I have seen uncountable threads by you about PFS and seen you get pissed that people are tired of hearing about it. You're gonna hear it if you post it.
