just say your car over heats one day and runs out the top of the overflow tank...

ok now you have your handy dandy overflow tank. and the colant gets hot and starts to expand. but WAIT.... there is no where for the colant to go becuase your new overflow tank has no way to let the colant leak out.


if your new tank is sealed.. i hope you never get to hot becuse you will blow something (rad, lines, seals, ect.)

the overflow tank is to help with expanding colant from heat. and it is also designed to flow out of the tank if it gets to hot.

as long as your new tank has a hole in the top for colant to run out your ok

Bump.


Ok, so how bout we make a venthole in the top of this sucker? I think removing and replaacing the overflow could be a good idea..

Someone said they were using the Greddy Catch can?

it's identical to that one, except it doesn't have a top on it....i think his is better
