Okay, I just spoke with Chad and am giving him a hand by posting the pic. He's new to computers, so give him a break regarding caps, etc. At any rate, here is the pic:

Shouldn't it have some small vents like the stock one, bigger vents at the rear. Alot of air comes in there and only has a small place to exit so I would assume a major restriction.

Forgive me, I'm not really seeing why this is a better alternative to stock.
The stock pan is plastic = flexible to some degree, fits perfect and is cheaper ~$180.
The stock belly pan will flex some while this one will just bend. Sure you can bend it back but after a few bends I can imagine it will be hard to get straight.
No flames, just want to hear the tradeoffs.

exactly...the stock plastic unit isnt just a flat board. theres alot of design that went into it to direct air at the radiator. it also isnt single layered and it attaches to the frame of the car. i could cut out the metal pan that u have out of sheet metal in 10 mins. i was expecting alot more
lol, 2 other people chimed in as well... and i just realized that u want $400!!!
ARE YOU INSANE!!!

in regards to vents there are actually two parts to the stock pan one that directs air to the rad the other directs the extra air out, since all the air is directed to the rad on this one there is no need for the vents. you are correct the stock is designed todo certain things(direct air)this does the same job better with this the air is forced into the rad and not directed. ill get some pics of it off the carat the end of the week when the shipment comes in.also movig the mount points forward allows for hot air to exit the motorbaywithout restriction

Cooling
After the Koyo radiator change, I am seeing constant 81-82 deg at cruise fan on, is this pan going to get the temp any lower?
Since it says to direct better cooling, what test[s] has been done for the R&D if any, if I can get the temp below 80's I am in! But I highly doubt since our car has a stock thermostat that seems to open and close at 80 deg.

as i stated the pan in the pic was built by hand almost a year ago. this particular one was built simply for testing on a stock car. soon to come are the pix from the fab shop. about the koyo i just put one on a car that had a koyo with great results

DK, I'm one of those people who drains the Mobil 1 out of my wife's car every 15,000 miles and pour it back into my 185,000 miles beater that burns oil. Voila, I haven't changed oil in 5 years, just filter once a year. If your used oil is Mobil 1, I might consider buying it.

****! My BMW gets its Mobil1 oil changed every 7,500 miles. I have two boxes of oil sitting in my garage right now. Do you want them?
Never mind. I think I'll auction it off on EBay
