alum ast with PFS IC

anyone installed a alum ast with the PFS smic? it has enough room to fit, but it doesn't line up with the mounting point on the IC. anyone done this mod and have a recomendation?

would be much appreciated

yep

CAREFULLY bend the mounting tab on the AST about 20 degrees to the right.

Just fab a bracket. I have the M2 Humongous IC and it still fits. Check the 2nd pic in my sig.

thanks for the responses all...
my dad is coming over tonight to help fabricate some sort of bracket...

is it a big deal if the ast touches the IC?
will it damage it? or reduce its effectiveness?
