Is there any difference between the manual and auto alternator and starter harness?

 

i have just replaced a auto trands in the fd and there are differences. the started is mounted completly different and the wiring is longer for the manual. there is wiring that goes to the auto trans controls that runs with the starter wiring.
why do you ask.
