My OEM alternator died last year, so I had a local shop rebuild it. Also found my alternator power cable was corroded so I went ahead and upgraded the starter and alternator cables as well to some beefier wiring.

Currently running the Sakebomb HIDs, defi gauges, and aftermarket stereo system. No issues to report here, plenty of power to go around.

It was a little bit of work but nothing crazy for us 20b swap guys . Dimentionally it's about the same size as the fd unit but slightly smaller. So I had to modify the tension adjuster bracket with a longer bolt (the side bolt that goes to the power steering bracket) so it would line up with the alternator. I also had to grind a little bit of the housing so it would adjust properly. Lastly, I installed the fd smaller pulley but had to grind the back side slightly to get the belt to line up as the pulley was sticking out too far.
