alternator?

car wont turn over does the clicking noise. i have a new drycell battery so i dont think its that. alternator or starter? any help would be appreciated

check your starter...and your fuses...and make sure your car is grounded properly..

Sounds like low battery voltage and most likely dirty or loose battery connections. Check for loose cables or corrision at the terminals.

i have a new gel cell battery about 1 1/2 months old, that was relocated into the back compartment behind the drivers seat. could the alternator be draining the battery? thanks for the help

jumped it and it started. im gonna clean out the terminals put some vasoline on them hopefully thats it. wiring was a little loose but not that bad. i tightened that up. thanks again for the help. so at least its not the starter. one down.
