Alternate FD interior?

Has anybody ever heard of a more updated dashboard/clocks/intrumentation from another vehicle been worked to fit an FD?

It looks a bit old and I have always been keen on the idea of jazzing it up a bit with a new interior. I have considered building my own from fiberglass which is ok but I would still need to find instruments/clocks that would fit.

Any ideas?

No clock in the FD. No chance to look at it. OEM interior is hard to beat when new.

....It will all have to be custom made but at this point you will be doing something like this.
I love the way the FD looks so i am satisfied with the stock look.

not clock, I meant dials, speedo, rev guage etc.

compared to modern Mercs etc it just look dated, I will have to build something more modern. If your doing up the outside, there's nothing wrong with doing up the inside aswell.

Why not use the "old" 2002 white guage cluster? Or feed red one, or blue Mazdaspeed. Prefereble one with 10k tacho, boostmeter?

Not exactly what you wanted but maybe one step in the right direction.

After owning my S2000, Im in love with its digital readout speedo and tach. At 1st, I thought it was a bit cheesy and gimmicky, but its just so easy to read and simply laid out, its really a thing of beauty. Now getting back into cars with analog needle gauges, they seem so difficult to read on the fly. Not sure how easy or even possible it would be to adapt an S2000 gauge cluster in, but Im definately doing a racepak cluster when my FD goes back together. DOnt get me wrong, the stock gauges and 2 or 3 matching (Defi) aftermarket ones can look amazing, but in practice Ill take the digitals.
