I own the blue 3rd gen in the readers rides section but those are very old pics, i am going to run an electric water pump so the water pump housing is now gone that the alternator bolts to. any idea where or who i can get an alternator bracket fabricated by? and also this might sound funny, i took off my power steering pump, but keeping a/c (RX-7 in fl=sweat ballz). so all i will have is the alternator and the a/c compressor and i bought an unorthodox racing single belt main drive pulley and i was going to use the alternator to tention the belt,well now the problem is that the a/c compresor sits too far foward for the single belt pulley and the pulleys do not line up. Is there a single belt pulley that sits farther forward or should i have a new a/c compressor bracket made to move it back to line up, or use a dual belt pulley with a tentioner somewhere for the a/c???????Has anyone ever ran into this problem?
