almost blew my motor need help with boost problems.

yesterday I installed my intercooler and boost controller and right when I got on the street for a test spin it was the fastest thing I have ever been in so I had to let off because i was loosing control. So in 2nd gear i stepped on it again and it started to sound like tools were in the engine bay falling as if u droped a wrench on the ground. I was guessing it was detonating. so I set the boost controller for .80 bar but it keeps clibing easily over to about 15psi. we put it in right we even got the directions directly from hks for a mazda rx7. I have hks evc IV and either I didn't set it right or soemthing is really wrong because now I can step on it with out detonating my motor. does anybody have any expertise in this? My mods are intake, dp, mp, cb, PFC, intercooler, boost controller,

You are running a midpipe. It's that simple. You are overwhelming the stock wastegate.

I highly suggest you remove the midpipe and put a cat back on for now.
