All the Sudden - NO BOOST - My car is running NA! =*(

Alright so I'm on my way to AZ...

Still having the same boost issue... but things have gotten worse.

My boost will spike to 15-16psi if I floor it, and primary boost is laggy as hell, slows down the car, boggy, etc. But when the second comes online (5400RPM) it will be strong as hell. So I know it's not a vac leak on the secondary side, perhaps I have a bad solenoid and it's leaking from the solenoid on the primary side?

Which solenoids does the primary turbo go through, but the secondary doesn't??

**NOW THE NEW PROBLEM**

So my boost stops working all of the sudden, when I floor it I'll be lucky to get 3psi, and I hear a faint whistle, like a line had popped off, or there is pressure leaking somewhere. It's not a busted line, because I replaced all the lines with silicon, and I know it's not the MAP sensor because I checked that. But... a line *MAY* have POPPED off somewhere, I still have to pull the UIM.

But I am not getting any boost, and I must say.. for 1.3L the engine has a decent amount of power w/o turbo, lol.

I still can't figure out my primary boost issue, why the primary wouldn't work right but the secondary would? Does that sound like a solenoid issue? But as of right now, I do not have any boost....BOV lines are fine too... how about the CRV? Could this cause a primary turbo issue?

Anyway, I am using manual valves, and they were working fine, I didn't move them, but I am not getting any boost now.

Anyway, any ideas to the boost issues.. please post.

Thanks

I get intermittient boost on the primary turbo as well. 2ndary turbo works just fine.

I suspect it is the solenoid. If you cruise in 2nd or 3rd, with no primary boost, there is a click after a while and then the primary turbo works just fine.

Oh well.

Which solenoids does the pressure flow use on primary boost and not on secondary? ANy idea on the NO BOOST issue?

Thanks

I had the exact same problem. Turns out, it was just a $5 ruptured hose.

If you have primary problems but secondary is fine, it would most likely be a Charge Control Solenoid/Actuator problem.

If both primary and secondary aren't working, then check your IC couplers and the hoses to the BOV.

mmm yum it was the lower IC pipe that split, w00t. That solves the no boost issue... now to figure out the solenoid issue.

Anyone in AZ have a spare pipe? lol
