All intake mods and powerfc question??

Just want to know something guys.

My car has got a jap spec tune, so when i got it dynoed here in Aus the air fuel mixture was a little lean, but the tuner said its okay, but need a retune.

Ive cold cold air intake and a full exhaust, with hiflow cat I want to install on my car. If i put this on my car would/could my motor pop. I know if i didnt havbe a computer I would have a problem with the spiking, but would it be okay?

It will be ok *IF* you control your boost properly.

I'm assuming you have a PFC due to your thread title. You should be fine with the base map with those mods. Anything is possible when it comes to engines blowing in the FD though. The main thing that will help you out though is using a high flow cat opposed to a midpipe. Most of the time, this will keep the boost from spiking. If for some reason you do have an issue with it, port your wastegates.
