to all with aftermarket rear strut bars.

do you find that it out performs the stock bar. I didnt actually know that it was a strut bar that that stupid little trunk shelf thing attatches to. also, if you opted for the aftermarket bar, did you leave that thing in?
that thing being the plastic piece that lifts and lowers with the hatch and is tied to it.

*ANY* stiff bar, that attaches the rear towers firmly, will perform the same. Any company that has sold you an aftermarket bar, has tricked you into thinking you need it to replace the stock bar.

Would you like to buy some high performance air for your tires? I have some, but it is expensive

I don't think that is totally how it is...

I bought the Rotary Extreme harness/strut bar. It was a heavier duty bar. The good news was it had the bolts for the trunk cover too. It left a little gap because the orginal had all that plastic around it. All in all, I think it was worth the money but to each his own.

The function of a strut bar is to hold the struts so that they remain the same distance from one another. To keep them from moving closer together or further apart as the chasis flexes. What will your heavier bar do, that the stock bar would not do?

thats what i would think, but then why bother even making a rear strut bar if all 7's come stock with one. other than the weight factor, i think they are pretty much the same too.

Because there are always people in search of better. Tell them it is better, and make it nice and cool looking, and they will open their wallets.

I agree about the stiffness, they all do the same thing. But, I believe the Rotary Extreme one has threads for attaching the harness. Probably why a lot of guys buy it.

Its like selling a product to someone that has no value, creating its own market ....... like cigarettes. Cigarette companies convince people to smoke, even though it is costly, and provides no benefit.

Yes the RE has threads for a harness. That's the reason I bought theirs.
I put front and rear strut bars on my old Integra Type R and I could tell a huge difference.
On my 7 it was a different story. I couldn't tell much of a difference when I installed both the front and rear strut bars. I do think the stock rear bar isn't much of a strut bar though, it seemed too light to me but like I said before to each his own. I'd buy it again if I had it to do over again.

My M2 rear strut bar has the attachments for the rear hatch cover and bolts for my harness. Bought it for the harness not for its stiffness.
