Alarm question...Please help

To make a long story short, my alarm went off tonight and I need to know if its just a fluke or if its possible someone was trying to steal it.

There is no visible damage to the car and I am freaking because I can push the car or walk around it and hit it with my fist and it won't go off.

I guess what I'm asking is...Are there any easy ways the alarm can be set off by a cat or something along those lines.

i doubt a cat would set it off unless you have a very sensitive sensor. i would not put it past you that someone is trying to jack your shizzle. if you have an FC, those things are easy to steal, an FD has the updated locks. our cars are getting very rare because no one seems to know how to take proper care of them HAHA
