Alarm issues?

Ok, ill start off by saying that this problem only started happening since i locked the doors for the first time since i got the car with my keys and unlocked them. Since then my car lets off a single beep when i open the door and every once in awhile when i open the door the alarm will sound.... beeping headlights etc.

Obviously it has something to do with the door locks which i just started using, but how do i disable/fix this, i tried playing with the keys in the locks again to no avail.

Thanks

Ok,, i think i found the problem, the passenger door is still locked when im opening the drivers door.. so when i unlock the passenger side door with the key i no longer get beeping when i open the driver door.

Can somebody explain to me how the FD locks work though, when i lock then turn the key the other day in the driver door, it will lock the passenger side door, but then i can only unlock the driver door from the driver side with the key? But then if i dont open the passenger door with the key the driver door beeps whenever i open it and occasionally the alarm will go off?

Just does not make any sense to me.

I've forgotten how this works, but the Body Electric manual in the stickies has a complete diagnostic procedure that pretty much outlines how it is supposed to work.

your key should disarm the factory alarm when you unlock your driver's door. check by using a power probe and look for negative signal when you turn to unlock driver's door. The wire is located in the driver's kick panel. The color is light green and black. Easy fix if factory switch in driver's door is bad is add a door actuator and send negative pulse from unlock to light green and black wire to disarm and unlock.
