alarm 20 pin connector problem

Anyone else have a really hard time getting the white 20 pin connector by the driver's side kick panel?

I'm trying to pull it out to disengage the stock alarm system. Anyone have a tip for me?

You need to get a good grip on it and wiggle it out a bit at a time (having said that, don't just grab a set of pliers and yank on it). Just try to get a good grip with your fingers and try to wiggle the connector back and forth along its length (not across it width, as you can break the connector). It should start to come out with a little patience.
