Airpump pipes

If the airpump has been taken off what do you do with the pipes below?? The white and red arrowed.

You can either cap the ends or tak the pipes off.

The pipes don't do anything at all without the air pump - you can leave them open and the car will run just fine.

But, it does look better if they're capped off. You can also get chair caps at Wal-Mart that work perfectly - I believe 7/8" fits like a glove.
