I'd like to think that I'm not going crazy and can still count, but I can't find any documentation of the airbag light flashing 7 times, then stopping, then 7 times again. I did find the table below in a search, but 7 flashes is not listed.

Is there something obvious I'm missing? I'll post a video later in case anyone thinks I can't count!

I know this is super old but I'm not seeing anything on 7 flashes either. Did you get yours fixed? Does anyone else know why it would flash 7 times?

OK I found it in the 94 FSM

7 Flashes is Damaged passenger air bag module or Damaged wiring harness.

Great catch, remember folks look in the appropriate year FSM, sometimes Mazda slips in an Easter egg!

This is an RX-7 forum, you're probably going to have better answers on a Miata forum. While some parts are similar I'd be hesitant to give any advice on a Miata-specific part like that.
