Flashing Airbag light, oh no!!

My Airbag light is flashing. Is there anyway I can find out why myself? What are the common reasons airbag lights flash?

There is appearantly no pattern to the flashing...

Thanks,
David

its either gonna flash on and off at even intervals (something is disconnected) or it will flash a code (Up to 5 flashes, followed by up to 5 more flashes).

The code will determine if something has failed, but the system is working otherwise.

Constant even flashing will mean the system has shut down until the problem can be fixed.

Engine codes are easy to come by, but does anyone know of a chart of airbag codes? Mine is blinkin' 9?
