Airbag light constant on
As it gets warmer, I feel obligated to tackle car gremlins. One such gremlin is the airbag light. It comes on and says on, no beeps, no blinking, just constant on. The Airbag fuse looks fine. I read on this forum that it is possible to jump the 2A and 2B wires on the connector that goes to the airbag module (pictured here) but the light still comes on.
I don't want to just remove the bulb in the dash. I'd like to either fix the problem, or completely disarm the airbag so that the light goes away. I am also open to the idea of replacing the airbag module if you think that it is the culprit.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

its probably one of the sensors.
I had the same problem and replacing it with a used one solved the problem.
Its been a while since I did it but I think there's a diagnostics test you can do.
Here's a post about it: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...-light-979111/

I'm tempted to just disarm the airbag and call it a day. From whet I've read, if I just disconnect the airbag module, this will disarm the airbag, does this sound correct?

Just an update to this. I decided to just remove the Gas generator. Very easy to do and it eliminated the airbag's ability to accidentally deploy which seems to be a a concern with 1st generation airbags.
