When I bought my rx the air pump was disconnected at the plug but the clutch was running freely. When I got it home I decided to connect it which burnt my belt to shreds as it was obviously seized when it was engaged. Since then I have purchased a second hand one which is working as i have tested it buy putting power to it and it engages as it should. What I would like to know is when the pump should kick in and what it actually does because I have not seen it engaging when the engine is running. Cheers anyone
