air pump wire?

well i took out my air pump and blocked off the opening and now i am left with the wire that connected into the air pump... what is this wire, and what should i do with it? should i just leave it alone or connect it to something? can anybody help me with this one?

Just hide it behind the waterpump housing.

Also, make sure the wire insulation is intact. It tends to get hard and crack, and it will ground and blow the air pump/AC compressor fuse.
