Question air pump question

what type of electric air pump would i need to be able to run a functioning catalytic without my mechanical pump? is anyone running this type of set-up currently? i have been looking at my engine bay lately and would love to start removing some of the stupid clutter-crap in there but i (hate to say this) want to be able to pass emissions... trying to be a better steward for the environment and all... someone had said before to try one from a corvette but no one could ever give me any more info than that on it. where would you (i) mount it? would it operate well enough for me to pass emissions with it like that?

(by the way... don't know if anyone cares/remembers, but since i got my cooling fans fixed i very rarely get over 95C in traffic with my A/C on or over 91C on the highway

getting ready to change my transmission fluid and diff. fluid coming up... i love this forum... so much good info on how-to's and all!)

You could get a Vett air pump, its electric driven, but it you want to clean up your bay i would just suggest removing it, then if you need it for emmision you would have to put in back on....Pain in the *** yes.... As for the vett one you would have to fab up somekind of mounting and or adapter. Good luck.
