air pump harness broken - what to do

the wiring to the plug that plugs into the air pump is broken...see photo

how can i fix this?

Is that one of those GM electric air pumps? (The stock air pump is on the opposite side of the engine bay.) I don't see the broken connector. Without a better picture, it is unclear to me why the repair wouldn't be a simple case of cutting off the old connector and installing a new one.

did you mean power steering pump or a/c pump? It shouldnt be too hard to patch the wire together .

I have good extra connectors. I can sell you one to solder on. The best way to fix it is to replace the harness. If connectors and wires are brittle its a sign.
