air pump... bolt...

Hey guys

was wondering if anyone knew the specs or manufacturer part # for the long bolt (the top side).. that holds the air pump in. Or for you guys that took the air pump out, would any of you have the bolt lying around, and would like to help me out?

Stupidest thing, I am replacing the air pump... and finishing it up.. and ofcourse, I think "let me make sure i have everything tight"... i pull out my "trusty" torque wrench... set it to what the manual says.. turn... (and think odd... i thought I put it on pretty tight. Turn again (not even hard actually) and bam... bolt goes. So now, I need a new bolt, and I need to drill out the damn broken bolt. Luckily I think there is only a short piece that is stopping the airpump from being pulled out. Whee .. fun drilling and tapping ahead of me .

ANyways, sorry for rambling - was wondering if anyone had one around - since if you dumped the air pump, the bolt isn't necessary.

Thanks.

Shouldn't be that hard to find someone who has a spare that they'll hook you up with. Anyone who has removed an air pump should have one handy.

Might not be that hard of a bolt to find at a hardware store, BTW.

Good luck removing the old bolt - that will likely be a chore!

yeah - thats what i was thinking, that someone mihgt have one lying around, and wouldn't mind sending it to me . I would order it or what not, but not sure what the specs on the dumb bolt are.

Yeah, hoping its not too bad.. atleast there is only about 1/4 inch of the bolt thats stuck stuck in between preventing the air pump from coming out. Once I have the air pump out, i'll have the tough stuff ahead of me.. drilling it and threading it... sigh.
