Air Pump

How many of you still have your air pumps, and if so do yours make that annoying screech when the clutch engages? Don't a lot of people get rid of the air pump? Are they really that important on this car?

I still have my air pump, and no it doesn't make any mooing or screaching.

If you have a main/high-flo cat, then you need to keep the air pump. If you have a midpipe, then the air pump is useless.

Shortly after doing the turbo simplification, my airpump started chirping. The same chirping Mindphrame's did shortly before his airpump seized. So I simply unplugged my airpump so that the magnetic clutch doesn't engage.
