how do u know if your airpump has gone bad?

If think it's gone bad, take belt off, and turn it, see if it's locked up, Also it effects idle, so there so be signs of that, and i always have moo sound, are you hearing the MOO

Well if you have a aftermarket intake, you would know what the moo sound is, Do a search about the moos ound it will explain that the airpump makes a moo sound with a aftermarket intake

oh i know that it blows the air out the hose, but my sound is more raspy

When my air pump went bad, it made a sorta raspy sound. It was the magnetic clutch wheel rubbing the rest of the air pump pulley. It was annoyong. I just took it out.
