No picture, but I bet this is the "mystery" hose, right? The one that comes out of the driver's side of the airbox, and the hose extends down under the airbox, and terminates to the world? This is actually how the hose is supposed to be. I've seen alternate explanations as to its function, but note that it is in the same boxed off portion of the air box that the air pump is plumbed to. Might be a pulsation damper to reduce the air pump intake pulses (they really are loud!), or an over pressure valve, but that seems less likely. Either way, it does not draw IN air, so does not need to be filtered, but make sure it is held down properly by the sheetmetal clip under the airbox. It cooouuulllld end up getting pulled into the air pump rotation, but this is really unlikely. Just put it on and smile that you have a hose on your car that has no ostensible function

The hose that you are talking about is not the one that im talking about. The hose im talking about goes from the airbox to under the uim. I have had some respones saying that the hose that is circled is a return hose for the air pump. Its on the driver/back side on the airbox.

Do u have an email adress? If so let me send u my pic.

Thanks,
Cody
