Air filter question?

I was trying to get the my stock hair filter and everything seemed to be going ok, but when I removed the right tube that was just hanging out on the side the hole thing just came out? I don’t know if that’s good or not? So I took out the whole Air intake and couldn’t find where this tube went. Could someone please tell me where it goes or if that’s just goes no where and that’s just they way it is. O when I took the air filter out there was a nice small piece of wood just stuck hanging in the air filter how nice. If you need more detail just ask.

I don’t know why this forum keeps changing the URL, so I decided to change the picture file name. Hope this works

one of the tubes just vents out into the atmosphere and it points towards the ground...

Yep. Its normal. There is a clip below the airbox which helps hold the tube in place. Do not get rid of it. It does serve a useful purpose.
