Air Con shutoff
There was a unit called the "passmaster" or pass master" . It was a vacuum switch/relay which would open the circuit to the compressor at low vacuum which is full throttle. With a turbo engine it may not work due to the difference in pressures in the manifold. Try Google it may help you. I am sure a lot of newer engine computers open the circuit at full throttle surely the sport models and smaller engine packages. I work of general motors and most all engine packages open the A/C circuit at WOT.

Our FD's AC clutch is controlled by the AC relay. The AC relay is controlled by the ECU. The ECU disables the AC at WOT and at warmup. It re-enables it a few seconds after you let off of WOT. If yours isn't doing this, check your TPS.
