Aftermarket Steering Wheel Adapter?
I have been reading the posts associated with hooking a momo steering wheel to the FD. I read too many conflicting storys. which hub can I use so I can keep the horn, fool the airbag light and turn off signals. I can get the momo hub but I have heard about a clock spring problem. what is the easiest, best and most reasonably priced. I got the momo runner 350mm and need to order a hub. which one? and where to get it?

There's a JDM hub that you can buy that will not delete those, I cant remember what the name of it is but I wish I got that...It come with the 3 buttons on the top of the hub that controls the cruise control and also has the plug so you still keep the horn...look for that before buying anything.
Someone here might know of it..

i used a 91 miata hub, i just cut off the clock spring plastick outside harness thingy, then ran a hole in the hub for the wires!! super easy. for the Air bag light? i just pulled the bulb.

got a mazdaspeed one from a forum member. also got a Nardi competition steering wheel instead of momo. **** is bad. only a few inches less in diameter than stock and is one of the nicest steering wheels available. when I get it installed I will let you all know how it works and how hard it was. good luck.

I posted the original thread, referred to earlier, about the finish line performance '90-'97 hub that works perfectly.
If you order the custom part from Finish Line Performance you'll need the '90-'97 steering wheel hub adapter. I have not tried the '99 and later but I am pretty sure it won't work.
They don't seem to list the '90-'97 hub adapter and it appear eve the '99 and later is on close out (not making it anymore).
As was stated earlier I bet they must have just stopped due to liability. SUCKS!

I used the SPARCO FD3S/Miata hub, SPARCO Q/D hub, and SPARCO Mugello 330mm wheel. Jumped the airbag plugs and solved the light problem. It's really good ant-theft to boot.
Relocated my cruise controls, but I got three NOS buttons now

ok, here we are. I got the Mazdaspeed steering hub adapter kit from a very kind fellow forum member. probably the last one out? anyway got it and installed it. I followed the write up on scuderini. easy as hell. just followed the removal instructions of the stocker. hooked up the orange and blue plugs in the kit to the airbag plugs, hooked the horn and walla. tightened everything up and no more airbag or light. fits perfectly just as the guy I bought it from said it would. I got the Nardi Competition wheel and it looks awesome. here are some pics. hope you enjoy. I will.

I have an HKB hub with an additional Smart Racing detachable spline+extender block. Works fine. Although I did remove the airbag computer and airbag warning lamp. My car does not have cruise control so that's not an issue; and as far as the horn goes - horns are no brainers. Either grounded or not.

Umm I have the Finishline Miata hub you guys put up a link to...that's actually sold by the stealership right next to my house (it's an in-house exclusive product line). I bout it within the last 6 months as well. If a couple of you are interested in it, I can see if I can get a group discount on 'em if you guys want...
