Aftermarket Radiator drain plug

I bought an FD that has an aftermarket Pettit Racing 3 row aluminum radiator. I need to change my upper radiator hose that has a split from a worm gear clamp that dug into the hose (got OEM hoses and clamps to replace). I went to drain the coolant and the radiator drain plug broke off. It had flat tab on the end to unscrew it. I heard they often break.. Does anyone know if OEM radiator plug NF01-15-203 would work?

Also, will the OEM hose clamps work? It seems the worm gear clamps probably caused split in the upper hose so I won't re-use those but I also have the mishimoto constant tension worm gear clamps I can use... https://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-...-clamp-54.html

the factory clamps kind of need the hose to be the same thickness as the factory hose. so if you use the Mazda hose, you're good.

Pettit never made their own radiator. They resell Koyo and Mishimoto currently. Probably also offered others in the past. You probably have the Koyo but try and find the brand on it if you can.

If the plastic radiator drain plug broke, replace it with another generic plastic one or get an aluminum replacement. you can probably find the generic plastic plug at your local auto parts store if you're in a rush. Otherwise, just google for 'koyo drain plug' and buy from the vendor of choice. The drain plug size is industry standard as I understand it so thread pitch /size should be the same.

Regarding the hose clamps, yeah get the stock ones if you are using stock hoses. They work perfectly. Otherwise, those constant torque style clamps are also good. I use ones made by Breeze but the pictured Mishimoto should work too.

Thanks I'll check for brand on it. I have some OEM drain plugs if that works I'll be happy.
